Silver Tails is a water-based spray which is safe to use on fabric furniture when used as directed. Please test in an inconspicuous area first. You may spray a blanket or towel and lay that on the furniture. Use extra caution with leather or suede.

No, this is an unscented formula. Your dog has a special organ that allows them to sense and process the pheromones but as the product is water based and unscented most people are not aware of any scent associated with the product.
